600,000 people enjoy recreational fishing in New Zealand and most just grab a rod and hit the water. This makes reaching them to talk about seabirds difficult and expensive.
That's why we created 'Catch Fish Not Birds' bait buckets. We're putting info about seabirds into the hands of people who need it, when they need it.
Our buckets are printed with great info, last for years, and using them means seabirds are less likely to hang around getting in the way.
We are grateful to the sponsors who supported us to produce a test run of 1200 buckets for distribution in the Waikato and on the Coromandel in time for summer 2018/19.
