SEEKING SOLUTIONS TO KEEP SEABIRDS SAFE AROUND TRAWL NETS

New Zealand deepwater trawl companies are continuing their efforts to keep albatrosses and petrels out of the danger zone around their vessels’ trawl cables. Trials are underway for several of the most promising of these ideas. We will keep you posted.
